Compute
CPU and accelerator platforms are selected around sustained throughput, memory behaviour, I/O and operational supportability.
ABOUT BITACTIVE
BitActive has evolved from dedicated infrastructure operations into a connected platform spanning compute, private networking, content delivery, edge systems and automation.
TWELVE YEARS OF INFRASTRUCTURE OPERATIONS · API-FIRST CONTROL · ENGINEERED FOR PRODUCTION
VISUAL / SERVICE MODEL
This view summarizes the service boundary, decision points and operational signals for About Bitactive.
Traffic or control enters a defined service boundary.
Policy and placement are evaluated against current state.
The workload is processed by the appropriate infrastructure layer.
Telemetry is preserved so the path can be explained operationally.
01 / COMPANY
BitActive began infrastructure operations in 2014 with a focus on dedicated compute, network control and reliable production hosting. Over the following years the operating model expanded into private network design, automated provisioning, object storage, traffic engineering and globally distributed content delivery.
The website you are viewing is a new design, not an archive of old material. It reflects the current platform while acknowledging the operational history behind it. Rather than recreating historical pages or invented press releases, the company history is presented as a concise progression of engineering capabilities.
02 / HISTORY
BitActive starts with single-tenant compute, network operations and production hosting disciplines.
Provisioning and network configuration move toward repeatable, API-oriented workflows and clearer fault-domain design.
Content delivery, cache hierarchy and traffic steering become part of the platform rather than separate delivery add-ons.
Regional execution, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code workflows are integrated into a unified operating model.
The current BitActive design presents compute, network, delivery, security and developer workflows as one system.
03 / TECHNOLOGY ECOSYSTEM
BitActive uses infrastructure technologies from established vendors including AMD, NVIDIA, Intel, Cisco, Dell Technologies and Supermicro.
CPU and accelerator platforms are selected around sustained throughput, memory behaviour, I/O and operational supportability.
Routing, switching and interconnect choices are evaluated around capacity, failure behaviour and observability rather than brand uniformity.
APIs, Terraform-style workflows and versioned configuration reduce manual drift across compute, network and delivery layers.
Monitoring and change management are designed to preserve enough context for engineers to understand why a service is behaving differently.
